IMO DEPUTY GOVERNOR CONGRATULATES NIGERIANS ON DEMOCRACY DAY …HAILS GOV. OKOROCHA ON ACHIEVEMENTS

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has congratulated Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of 2017 Democracy Day celebration, calling for understanding and patience.
Prince Madumere's message was contained in a press release signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Uche Onwuchekwa.
Prince Madumere emphasized the importance of democratic rule in Socio-politico-economic development, saying that it gives people the freedom to express and discover themselves through sound policies, which are products of painstaking consultations, aggregation and harmonization of interests.
According to the release, Prince Madumere in his entreaties called on the people to view debates in the polity as progressive and healthy in democracy.
He however extolled All Progressives Congress Government led by President Mohammadu Buhari for their vision and for weathering the storm of recession, a situation he said that nearly brought Nigeria to its knees. He therefore commended APC government for churning out ingenious policies on Agriculture, Fiscal regulations and other vital interventions to ensure that Nigerians saved from the extreme effect of the situation.

IMO DEPUTY GOVERNOR RESCUES STRANDED PATIENTS IN FMC

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, has again demonstrated his heart of love, when he, yesterday, offset the bills of four patients in the pediatric ward of Federal Medical Center, Owerri Imo State.

Prince Madumere extended the kind gesture when he visited FMC to see the daughter of one of his aides, Emma Abu who was admitted for burns from hot water, which was said to have been caused by a domestic accident.
In his tradition, Prince Madumere has sought to know how the kid-patients in the ward were fairing only to be told by the nurses the predicament of the patients who ought to have been discharge but for lack of money to pay their bills.
Prince Madumere was said to have requested to have their bills, which he paid in full. Among the beneficiaries, they were said to have been in the hospital between one and two months.
Among those who benefited where Derek Peter and parents, Francis Victoria, Chinonyerem Rejoice including Mrs. Eunice Chibiko and her baby, Eliezer Chibiko among others who received cash gifts for up-keeps.
Prince Madumere encourage Nigerians to always extend the hand of charity to those who do not have, saying such is the only way to encourage them out of their temporary financial challenges.
He also described the act of giving as the duty God has commissioned man to do to one another, saying that act of giving brings about fulfillment since riches means nothing when the needy are not giving hope.

IMO GOVT DEMANDS MORE POLICE OFFICERS FOR EFFECTIVE POLICING ...AS DIG COMMENDS OKOROCHA'S EFFORT IN CRIME PREVENTION

Imo Government has demanded for the posting of more officers of the Nigeria Police to the State following the growth of its population in geometric progression.
This call was made by the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere who played host to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Research and Planning who is also the DIG Supervising the Nigeria Police, South East Geo-Political zone, Mr. Valentine Ntomchukwu, when paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Government House, Owerri, Imo State.
Prince Madumere who commended the Nigerian Police for their partnership with the State government to achieving a safe Imo said that the call was necessary following the exponential growth in the population of the State, and also in the number of visits to the State following its status as a tourist State.

IMO GOVERNMENT INTRODUCES LGA BASED SECURITY COUNCIL ... CALLS FOR SYNERGY AMONG SECURITY AGENCIES

In bid to sustain and improve further on the positive security status of Imo State, the Governor of Imo state today introduced Local government security council meeting.

Governor Okorocha made this pronouncement during the maiden expanded State Security Council Meeting, which held at Nicks Banquet Hall, Government House, Owerri, Imo State this evening.
The Governor reiterated the need for consistent monthly security council meeting at the local government level. He therefore charge the council, which was chaired by the Deputy Governor to ensure they approach proposed strategies subjected to critical analyses before adoption to ensure effective crime prevention.

In his opening address, Prince Madumere commended the Security Chiefs for their effort in ensuring that Imo State remains safe and secure. He asserted that Imo is tourist destination, which its strategic location has continued to attract all shades of people among most of them are tourists, thereby emphasizing on Owelle Rochas Okorocha's resolve to up the security infrastructure in the State so as to maintain the peaceful and serene status of the State.

BOYS’ BRIGADE INSTALLS MADUMERE AS PATRON

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has been installed as Imo State Patron of Boys’ Brigade, Imo State Council by State Officers of the Youth Organisation.

Prince Madumere’s investiture as the State Patron of the Christian interdenominational Youth Body took place at the Chapel of Praise, Achi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government of Imo State earlier today and was performed by the President of Imo State Council, Lady Edith Onyejiaka.

Addressing the congregation of the Chapel of Praise, the State Public Relations Officer of Youth Body, Revd. Innocent Osuoha described Prince Madumere as a great leader, philanthropist, peace loving, humble and a goal getter who has continued to serve God and humanity. He also told the congregation and other guests that Prince Madumere has been a member of Boys’ Brigade since childhood.

In his prayers, the Chaplain of Chapel of Praise, Ven. Sunday Iherue prayed God to grant the State Patron, Prince Madumere, the strength and wisdom to carry on with the noble responsibility of helping to groom the youths so as to transform into good citizens with Christian moral values.

MADUMERE RECOUNTS ORDEAL ON IMO FREEDOM DAY ... EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO IMOLITES, MEDIA

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has emphasised the importance of Imo Freedom Day Celebration describing self as one of the beneficiaries of Imo people's struggle and insistence on enthroning Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission Government in 2011 general elections.
  
Prince Madumere who made this confession on May 6, 2017 during the celebration of Imo Freedom Day  at Freedom Square, Owerri, Imo State in an interview with journalists  recounted his ordeal, having suffered injustice, humiliation and incarceration, but was quick to say that his worries grew worse when the plot to poison him in the custody was uncovered by a good samaritan. 

He feared what would have become his fate as the establishment was ready to go fiendish were it not for the intervention of people of Imo State backed by the Media and Civil Society groups to ensure that people's will prevailed. 

MADUMERE HEADS IMO SECURITY TRUST FUND

The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha yesterday demonstrated his confidence in administrative prowess of his United States groomed Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere as he appointed him as the chairman of the newly constituted Imo Security Trust Fund .

Madumere's new appointment was pronounced by Governor Okorocha during the State Security Council meeting held at government house ,Owerri, Imo State.

Governor Okorocha said the security trust fund was constituted to ensure proper funding of security agencies in the state, pointing out that the appointment of Madumere to head the trust fund is based on his administrative acumen and capability .

The Governor said the creation of the trust fund is to maintain the peaceful and serene environment so far achieved  in the State as he called on Imolites to support the trust fund .

IMO DEPUTY GOVERNOR FELICITATES WITH WORKERS ON MAY DAY

The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere heartily felicitates with Imo Workers and their counterparts across Nigeria, hailing them for their commitment and resilience towards tackling the daunting challenges facing the country.

Prince Madumere’s May Day Celebration message was contained in a Press release signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Uche Onwuchekwa.

Prince Madumere emphasized the importance of devout Workers in Nation Building, describing them as the real heroes of the nation, which he attributed to their patriotism, commitment, resilience and dynamism in service to father land.

The number two citizen of Imo State particularly commended Imo Workers for their cooperation and strategic partnership with the present rescue Mission Government led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha to building an Imo of State of collective dream.

He also thanked Nigerian Workers for joining hands to ensure that Nigeria is set on the path of recovery having experienced a seeming irredeemable economic downturn occasioned by a sudden crash in oil price, which threw the country into the throes of economic recession.
