FRIENDS, I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS ON YULETIDE
The government in its transformation policies have continued to build and enviable State. The environment is as alluring with facilities for the recreation of our families, friends, visitors and investors. We have also lined up various programmes for our relaxation ranging from Cultural Festival, Traditional Wrestling Competitions, a pro Igbo pageants to promote Igbo language and culture dubbed "Opara Imo and Ada Imo". We shall crown it with the Imo Carnival, which since its debut has become the talk of the town. just yesterday, we had "Imo Day of Thanksgiving, which drew people from far and near to thank The Lord for His mercies and to also reach out to our people especially the less privileged.
On this note, I wish you Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year!
I, Prince Eze Madumere, on behalf of my family and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I bring to my friends good tidings on this period of festivities.
For us as Christians, we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ on Christmas. This celebration also brings with it other eventful purposes that would always persuade our people to come home. It is a period of reunion because it gives us the opportunity to meet with our loved ones who, for one reason or the other, are sojourned in other States or outside the shores of Nigeria.
With these reasons, naturally our people are bound to be on the road throughout this period. While we pray for God's manifold grace, protection and guidance, I wish to use this medium to appeal to our people to drive carefully and ensure that they observe all safety' regulations. I would also advise that we stay away from all manner of intoxicating hard drinks to avoid errors in judgement and fatigue, which are the major causes of road accidents.
The Government of Great Imo State led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha, working in concert with the security agencies has achieved a safe and secure Imo, which has made it one of the safest States in Nigeria.

By this effort, we are very much not unaware of some aspects of economy of the State that have received a huge boost. Those in arts, culture and movie industry are smiling. Creat time to visit some spots in the State? You will be amazed at the level of growth so far experienced in our various sectors of the economy.
Yes, recession is a reality in our country today. It is also true that it has come with it a reinvigoration of the true Nigerian spirit - that ingenuity that seemed to have taken flight from our body politic. Again, efforts are being made both at the State and National level to build a new Nigeria with a stronger economic foundation that will not only relaunch us into a self sustaining nation but this time driven by the plough of our people.
On this note, I call on us to celebrate the season with enthusiasm, hope and unbridled optimism even as we plan on better approaches on how we conduct our businesses with value come 2017.
On this note, I wish you Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year!
