Cross River is our sister State. We have always maintained friendly relationship and have also cooperated both socially and economically.  We have consistently hosted three editions of Imo Carnival, which is growing rapidly. The last edition was competitive and exciting to our people and the visitors of the State. My Governor has shown the will to develop an integrated tourism package for Imo State that will not only engender development but will create a sought-after destination for tourists. It is on this background that we have come to learn because Imo State is ripe for a bumper harvest in the area of tourism. We have great potentials with our positive culture, great entertainment industry, unique cuisine people seek to taste and great hospitality outfits mostly owned by private investors."
